چکیده

The application of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) on top normal-strength (NSC) is a practical rehabilitation approach to maintaining degraded and damaged members. However, successful repair operation consequent adequate performance are very much dependent the ability interface between UHPC NSC present superior bonding under various surface conditions. Consequently, predicting strength bond at joining existing newly placed overlaying - with sufficient certainty has become vital required step in assessing rehabilitated structural elements. In this work, Artificial Neural Network (ANN as well Gene Expression Programming (GEP methods utilized predict substrate using comprehensive database set consisting 264 experimental data points gathered from literature. A parametric ANN analysis performed examine assess effect each parameter interfacial strength. following five factors identified key parameters through GEP analyses: curing method, age UHPC, compressive NSC, treatment, moisture developed models have good accuracy closer predictions slant shear test splitting tensile root mean square error (RMSE) values 5.0, 4.3, coefficient variation (COV) 37%, 24%, respectively.

Laboratory evaluation of shear bond strength of porcelain repair methods

Introduction: Porcelain fracture is a relatively common problem in clinical dental practice. Various methods have been proposed for repairing porcelain fractures including direct composite resin repair or construction of a porcelain laminate veneer and its cementation with a resin cement. Evaluation of shear bond strength of porcelain repair methods was the purpose of this study. Methods: Tw...

Bond strength of chlorine peroxide.

The bond strength of chlorine peroxide (ClOOCl) is studied by photoionization mass spectrometry. The experimental results are obtained from the fragmentation threshold yielding ClO+, which is observed at 11.52 +/- 0.025 eV. The O-O bond strength D(o) is derived from this value in comparison to the first ionization energy of ClO, yielding D(o)298 = 72.39 +/- 2.8 kJ mol(-1). The present work prov...

Effect of high-concentrated bleaching agents on the bond strength at dentin/resin interface and flexural strength of dentin.

This study evaluated the effect of bleaching agents on bond strength at the dentin/resin interface and the flexural strength of dentin. Forty maxillary canines were selected for the study. In the shear strength test, 40 slabs of intracoronary dentin (5 x 5 mm) obtained from buccal surfaces of the crowns were included in acrylic resin. In the flexural strength test, 40 dentin bars (8 x 2 x 2 mm)...
